  • Oh dear. I am looking at her little, wizened, almost elderly face, the dip between the bones of her arms and the ribs on her chest that I can count and I know that I have NO interest in EVER looking like that. If she was in Africa, a kindly health worker would likely take her to a feeding station.

  • Chris, it was about that and more--how they are victimized by the male half of the people they are trying to help and then, again, by the people who are supposed to support them. However, I stand by what I said.
